Over two sessions, exhibiting artist Stacy Gardoll will guide you through her practiced approach for creating botanical painting in oils and acrylics. Offering a comprehensive lesson in crafting detailed renditions of Western Australia’s striking flora, this two-part workshop leads participants through the techniques and processes used to produce Gardoll’s bold and unique works.
In the first session, painters will sketch out their subject on canvas and build the base tonal underprint in acrylic. In session two, add oil layers and finish by building details and texture.
Suitable for both beginner and experienced painters. All materials supplied. Participants to bring own apron.
