Who’s Coming to Dinner?
Videography by Jessica Russell.
Who’s Coming to Dinner? celebrated practitioners across various disciplines who use vessels to express their stories.
Curated to complement Wedge: The Australian Ceramics Triennale, presented 2-5 Oct 2025 in Fremantle, four major exhibitions* presented at Mundaring and Midland Junction Arts Centres showcased artists working at different stages of their creative careers, and across mediums to highlight ceramic practice and forge new dialogue between artforms, materiality, memory and place.
Guests explored the exhibitions and the Store, where local ceramists’ works were on display, then shared a feast supplied by Gather Foods paired with drinks from Edgecombe Winery and live music by renowned pianist Sue Bluck.
Guest speakers Jude van der Merwe, Sakshi Agarwal (International Artist in Residence) and Jen Kerr (Exhibiting Artist), shared insights into the arts, their creative processes, inspirations, and the personal histories woven into their work.
Who’s Coming to Dinner? 20 Sep 2025 was a night of art, music, and shared stories, leaving guests inspired and connected.
