With a dose of collaboration, come on a journey of playful and sensitive exploration of the relief print process, investigating the visualisation of movement.
In this printmaking workshop, you will explore a baton of a different kind - a printing plate and a print that is handed over from one to the next carrier, and so forming a collaborative artwork when all individual parts are assembled together.
A wonderful introduction to relief printmaking, you will explore mark making, representing various movements, application of carving tools, exploring progressive carving, layering and continuous printing in reductive processes.
Beginners and intermediate printmakers welcome, especially those interested in conceptual approaches to printmaking.
