Farewell heARTlines 2013, fingers crossed for 2015

HeARTlines 2013 is over, but for fans of the festival there is good news: we're already planning for heARTlines 2015.

Our grant application is in, and while we bite our nails and wait to hear, we'd love for you to get in touch with any suggestions for the festival's program of public events, or for WA authors or illustrators you'd love to have involved.

For inspiration, take a look through some of the highlights of the 2013 festival, from hanging the exhibition to the line-up for opening night.

We'd love to have you involved for 2015, so bookmark this page or subscribe to heARTlines updates, and you'll be the first to find out when bookings open...

About heARTlines

heARTlines promotes an appreciation and understanding of children’s books through the stories and art of WA authors and illustrators.  The heARTlines festival was created to bring literature and art enrichment opportunities to children, teachers, writers and artists on the eastern edge of Perth.  heARTlines is Australia’s only month-long literature festival and is proudly supported by the Department of Culture and the Arts, Healthway promoting the Drug Aware message and the Shire of Mundaring.

About the Mundaring Arts Centre

As a community Arts centre set up by volunteers over 30 years ago, it supports two thriving galleries and a gift shop with a range of locally made artworks by WA artists.  Entry is free to the Centre, which is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 am – 5 pm; 11 am – 3 pm weekends (closed Mondays and public holidays).  The Mundaring Arts Centre is at 7190 Great Eastern Hwy, on the corner of Nichol Street in the heart of Mundaring.
