Eleven artists and designers explore fabric manipulation techniques, clothing deconstruction and reconstruction, creating sculptural forms using recycled, upcycled and repurposed materials, reconnecting with lost skills and working against consumerism.
The Worn Out Worn (WOWA) Art Exhibition 2018 presents wearable art creations by artists Andrea Day, Angela Ferolla, Charlene O’Brien, Katrina Virgona, Louise Wells, Lyndell Darch, Mary Ann Dawson, Minaxi May, Sarah Zel Chescoe, Susie Vickery and Trish Bygott.
The exhibition complements the annual WOWA Wearable Art Parade held for the first time this year in the historic Midland Junction Arts Centre.
